PASSENGER BUS  ENDORSEMENT

Passenger Bus Endorsements are required when there are more than 16 passengers, including the driver. This endorsement applies to church busses, busses hauling employees (farm workers. ect.) and even , yes, roadie busses (hauling musical bands). To become an authorized passenger bus driver in Washington State, qualified applicants must complete a six day (48 hours). Before training student must possess a Class A or Class B CDL.

Qualified applicants must successfully complete this six-day (48 hours) training program to become an authorized passenger bus driver in Washington state. With time spent in the classroom and behind the wheel of a school bus, participants receive training in all aspects of passenger bus driver training, effective classroom instruction, reference point driving instruction, and the rules and regulations of the Washington state passenger transportation industry.

Course Requirements

Participants must hold a Class A or B commercial driver’s license with passenger and school bus endorsement and air brake restriction removed, and also meet all minimum requirements for school bus drivers.
